Swap Meet Sculpture

I'm sure some of you are tired of my ongoing motorcycle rant, but I just had to respond to Doug K. nice set of pictures from an Arizona swap meet. I took a few shots at Mid-Ohio and never got around to posting them. The idea here is not to look at these as useful motorcycles, but little bits of sculpture and minor tales of the past.

As you can tell from the water spots, it was a rainy weekend. Sidecovers like mushrooms.

  1. Jac,

What's all that green stuff on the ground? Some kind of weird plant life? We don't have that here in the desert, just sand, rock, or asphalt.

For what it's worth, I think your sidecover picture and the BSA tank photo are the best of the bunch. The sidecover photo is one of those that I see and think "I wish I'd taken that one."

  2. Doug,

Thanks for the support. I was actually thinking, "how would Doug take this picture?" I think John got a little tired of me stopping to take a picture of some interesting bike part. It worked out in the end though. I took some shots for him that covered a project he was thinking about.
